Roy Hobbs World Series #34
295 teams have submitted reservations for the 2023 RHWS as we anticipate a
record number of competitors for 2023.
Week 4 – 60s & 70s – is sold out with 88 teams. We do have issues to address on
scheduling, so it will be interesting. With the number of teams in 65s & 70s, It is
time that we consider playing double-elimination in those playoffs.
A litany of deadlines, plans and policies can be found at royhobbs.com on the
CALENDAR page.

Here come the 80s
Plans for a 3-game series for 80s teams continue. We will set up a sign-up for those players, divide the players in consultation with 75s managers who can assist in making it as even as possible; we plan to play games Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday mornings. Seven innings or maybe just 5, limiting
pitchers to 3 innings each to keep their 75s managers happy. Roy Hobbs will supply jerseys and hats – Knights and Oilers, et al. Charge will be $20 a player to cover umpires, baseballs, hats to keep, etc. 80s individual player registrations will open in August; announcement will be posted at royhobbs.com when open.
