SUNSHINE CLASSIC NEWS – ONLY 70+ DIVISION SPOTS REMAIN! ALL OTHER DIVISIONS SOLD OUT!

Team Managers: you should have received an updated invoice with due date. Further information regarding your division event and your unique player registration link will be coming soon.

SPRING DINGER EVENT DATE CHANGE FOR 50+ DIVISION

DUE TO A CONFLICT IN SCHEDULING ON THE PART OF THE COMPLEX, THE WEEKEND DATES WE HAD PLANNED FOR THE 50+ DIVISION EVENT WERE CANCELED. OUR OPTION TO ATTEMPT TO SAVE THE DIVISION WAS TO BOOK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AND RUN THE SAME WEEKDAY FORMAT AS THE 60+ DIVISION. WE’RE HOPING THAT THOSE TEAMS THAT EXPRESSED INTEREST WILL STILL BE ABLE TO FIELD A TEAM FOR OUR NEW DATES: APRIL 21,22, & 23 (T, W, TH). 

The 60+ Division scheduled dates remain April 14 – 16 (T,W,TH). 

Divisions are limited to 6 teams max. UPDATE – 60 + DIVISION NOW AT 6 TEAMS If you have not signed up your 60+ team and still want to participate in this division, please contact Rob Giffen immediately to discuss options.

Managers who expressed interested in attending this event, now in its second year, should have received their invitations to register. If you did not, and are still interested in bringing a 50+ team, please email Rob rg@royhobbs.com to sign up.

Join us again in beautiful Asheville, NC for our spring tune-up tournament at Bob Lewis Ball Park.

• 3500 Copies of the Inside Pitch printed
• 1840 Lineup cards used
• 1826 Hot Dogs eaten
• 1732 Hamburgers
  eaten
• 911 Games played
• 492 Dozen baseballs used
• 297 Videos streamed to social media- FB and Instagram & 1,919 photos published
• 270 Teams competed
• 72 Umpires worked games; 68 umps worked multiple weeks and 19 umps worked all 5 weeks! We had 8 first-time WS umpires.
• 58 Umpires from outside Florida; 17 states represented among all umps
• 22 Champions crowned
• 8 lbs of Karen’s M&M’s
  consumed
• and only 3 Player ejections!!!
