Baseball trivia contest: Collins posts perfect score!

Bill Collins, 63, an assistant baseball coach at Scituate (Mass.) High School, nailed all 10 questions we asked for our Roy Hobbs Baseball Trivia contest. Collins earned a $30 gift certificate to the Roy Hobbs gift shop for winning the contest.

Roy Hobbs World Series #35

1. Locker room: Prices have been reduced, the results of significant expense factor being eliminated. Click here to see Locker Room details. We still need 25 players a week to make it available, so If a week is cancelled, RH will make that decision by September 20 and will refund monies paid as needed.

2. Antiques division, 80s signup: Click here for individual 80s division signup. Appears we have 3 teams set and are working on a 4th team.

3. RHWS update: Registration for Free agents and practice fields is open. Go to royhobbs.com landing page for more information and registration links.

4. RHWS 2024 field: See the landing page for the link to the field. Week 4 (60s-70s) is sold out. Week 3 (53s) is close to being sold out.

7 Elected to Roy Hobbs Hall of Fame

Seven individuals have been elected to the Roy Hobbs Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

Hall of Fame member voters overwhelmingly elected the following: Sam Ceci of Idaho, Jim Dyvig of
Minnesota, Gary Foran of Nova Scotia, Rick Miller of Tennessee, Bill Russo of Ohio, Rich Seiler of Washington and Joe Williams of Alabama.

Details on these gentlemen will be posted on the Roy Hobbs webpage within the week as we are working of getting photos. Induction ceremonies will be split, probably November 2 and November 16.
